Il faut juste faire attention à l’ordre des mots:

Si il n’y a pas d'adjectif

Plus je mange, plus je grossis

The more I eat the more I get fat.

the more + sujet + verbe

Si il y a un adjectif

Plus je cours vite, plus j’ai de chance de gagner

The faster I run, the more chance I have to win the race

the   + comparatif  + sujet + verbe

the more + nom + sujet + verbe   ( plus …  )

the fewer + nom + sujet + verbe ( moins … )
