4- He wondered why I hadn't visited him before.

5-She said that she had alreday seen the Pyramids.

6- The fire had spread to the next building before the firemen arrived.

7- They drank small cups of coffee, after they had finished dinner.

8- He told me he had caught a young lion.

9- His mother had worried a lot about him before she heard that he was safe.

10- He had already learnt English before he left for England, but before he arrived in England, he had forgotten some.

11- Mary went swimming after she had come home. After she had swam, she called her friend Judy.

12- I went to the theatre with my friends yesterday. I hadn't gone to the theatre for a year. We had a very good time.

13- After they had finished their breakfast, they left for school.

14- Linda played tennis after she had done her homework.
