    Les pronoms possessifs:

    ( Il faut repérer le possesseur - souligné )

                           mine, yours, his/hers/its, ours, theirs

    mine = le mien, la mienne, les miens, les miennes, à moi

    yours = le tien, la tienne, les tiens, les tiennes, à toi, à lui, à elle

                 le vôtre, la vôtre , les vôtres, à vous

    his/hers/its = le sien, la sienne, les siens, les siennes

    ( his : masculin // hers : féminin  // its : neutre )

    ours = le nôtre,  la nôtre, les nôtres, à nous

    theirs = le leur, la leur, les leurs, à eux

    Le mien/ la mienne > mine

    Le tien/tienne > yours

    Le sien > his

    La sienne > hers

    Pour une chose > its

    Le- la- les nôtres > ours

    Le-la-les vôtres > yours

    Les leurs > theirs.

    Attention >>>>>

    Ne pas oublier que en anglais, les possessifs s'accordent non avec ce qui est possédé comme en français, mais avec le possesseur.....
